This exclusive Members-only tour with Lauren Greenfield through Social Studies takes place on the day the exhibition opens, offering an intimate first look at her latest work. As a member you are invited to explore the exhibition through the artist’s own perspective and gain insight into the ideas, stories, and creative process behind the installation.

Resulting from more than 150 days of filming and 2,000 hours of screen recordings shared by thirty teenagers in Los Angeles, Greenfield’s immersive exhibition turns what usually lives inside a six-inch screen into a world you can walk through: giant photo grids, a personal bedroom, an algorithm room to experience another person’s feed and a screening room presenting all five episodes of the Social Studies documentary series – all tracing how social media reshapes identity.
