This time, Daria switches sides and takes the stage alongside Cynthia Mensah-Neglokpe for a new project. Together with moderator Paloma Frau, Director of Cultural Events & Programming, the two Berlin-based authors and cultural curators will discuss their newly released book The Feeling of Berlin.
Written as a love letter to Berlin, it tells the story of the city through 33 portraits of women – each an icon in her own way. From club legend Britt Kanja to Love Parade co-founder Danielle de Picciotto, from Michelin-star chef Sophie Rudolph to next-gen creatives like Cloudy Zakrocki, the book uncovers local secrets and go-to spots that shape their version of Berlin.
On stage, Daria and Cynthia will share the behind-the-scenes of bringing this project to life: which stories touched them the most, how they chose their protagonists, and how they managed to work on several projects at once while writing the book. From challenges and wins to discipline, motivation, and the journey of turning a blank canvas into 250 pages of carefully curated content.
The result is part cultural time capsule, part coffee-table book, blending bold photography, intimate interviews, and the kind of insider tips you’d only share with a close friend.
The Feeling of Berlin is published by The Gentle Temper and will be released in October 2025.
