Elizaveta Porodina: Found Dreams – Book Launch and Signing

Join us for the launch of Elizaveta Porodina: Found Dreams, a new monograph exploring beauty, fantasy and nightmares through the spectacular realms of the human subconscious.

Structured as a five-chapter odyssey, Found Dreams brings together Porodina’s acclaimed photographic work with a wealth of never-before-published images. Recurring archetypes of the mother, heroine, warrior and shadow emerge through a kaleidoscopic world of color and light, revealing the complexities of the female experience and the depths of the subconscious.

The book features Porodina’s collaborations with artists and cultural figures including Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal and Ariana Grande, who contributed the foreword. The publication concludes with a conversation between Porodina and philosopher and author Dr. Victoria Trumbull, exploring themes of desire, longing, memory and reflection.

Edited by Nadine Barth, Found Dreams offers an intimate and expansive portrait of Porodina’s distinctive visual language and her ongoing exploration of the human psyche through photography.

About the author

Elizaveta Porodina is a photographer based in Germany and working globally. Her work often features surreal, symbolic narratives, blending fashion, fine art and documentary influences. With a background in clinical psychology, Porodina explores the complexities of human experience, using photography as a medium to investigate the subconscious mind.

Nadine Barth is a curator and writer. In 2006, she founded barthouse, an agency for international cultural projects. She has edited more than 100 publications on art, architecture, and fashion, including the seminal German Fashion Design and numerous award-winning photography books.
